The video below is filmed using a dashcam (on-board camera). Its author is just behind the famous Subaru and you will see that it is really not comfortable on a snowy road.

And yet, the road has been cleared (or almost). But even so, the white station wagon will start to skid around the first corner. This uncontrolled slide takes him to the side of the road. Miraculously, the driver manages to recover.

We don't really know how, but he manages to get back on the road to... slide better! No, his ordeal is not over yet. His catch in extremis turns into a new slide in the middle of the lane to return again to the ditch.

But this time it was the last. The driver returns to the road as normal and stays on it until it enters the freeway. A legendary sequence!
