# PlantForLife, an operation on Minecraft to plant trees in real life

Microsoft France is partnering with the Yves Rocher Foundation for the # PlantForLife operation in Minecraft, in order to make young people aware of the issue of reforestation. Each virtually planted tree will actually be planted by the Yves Rocher Foundation on one of its planting sites. Details.
Since September 8th, Minecraft players can do a good deed for the planet. Launched by Microsoft France, in partnership with the Yves Rocher Foundation, the # PlantForLife operation offers players to create their virtual tree that will then be actually planted on one of Yves Rocher's sites in France and around the world.

Two portals
Once connected to the server, the player accesses a corridor and can use the left gate to "build his tree" using blocks or via "a sprout and bone powder". Still on this side of the corridor, he will be able to discover the forest made up of the creations of all the participants.
