Control and limit data collection on your iPhone and iPad with this feature
With the iOS 15.2 and iPadOS 15.2 update for iPhone and iPad, Apple is introducing an app privacy report. This allows us to quickly find out which applications have used their privileges to access the camera, microphone, location and more.
Since fall 2020, Apple has offered us more transparency regarding the permissions that an application will ask us before we have even downloaded it.
In the file of said application on the App Store, you can therefore instantly know what data the application will seek to obtain.
It can be our location, our contacts, our microphone, our camera, our purchases, etc.
However, after giving our consent and downloading the app, we don't really know how often it uses these privileges.
Apple is remedying the situation and introducing a new feature in Settings that lets us know! This is the app privacy report.

Once the report is activated, we can therefore know which applications have used which authorizations.
We can also know to which domain applications have established contact and transmitted this information.
As long as you are not comfortable with a certain activity of a specific application, you can go and withdraw access to it.
Just go back to the tab: Privacy Settings, select the authorization and remove it for the application in question.
