Take to the skies to film and photographBy Fabien Pionneau (@FabienPionneau)Share:
Now well established in the aerial and videographic landscape, drones offer photographers and videographers the opportunity to gain height in their shots in order to broaden their view of the world and explore new creative opportunities.
DJI drones, Parrot drones... more than 100,000 drones were sold in France in 2014 and nearly 290,000 in 2015. only sold 195,000 units in 2015! But, a leisure drone… for what? To take pleasure in piloting a flying machine at a distance, as radiomodelers have been doing for several decades. With one major difference: drones can potentially take off from anywhere; no need to go to a club field anymore. But the main interest of a recreational drone is not to pilot, it is to film and photograph from the air, to take advantage of a unique angle of view.
