Star Academy: We discover Gäelle, an incredible artist!

It is with happiness that, since the beginning of the week, we meet the 19 candidates who will participate in the first variety of Star Academy, this Sunday.Indeed, we spoke with William, Laurie, Jérémy, Krystel, Jacques, Mathieu, Olivier, Julien and Yannick. How do you feel waiting for the next variety?

I'm starting to stress, honestly.With the expectation of a month I was thinking about it too much, but there I am starting to stress and I can't wait.

During your final hearing, you sang Feverde Dua Lipa (Featuring Angèle), why did you choose this song?

It moves more.I told myself that it would stand out, because people often do hearings in hearings.

What pushed you to register for Star Academy?

One of my friends Texté to tell me that the auditions would go to Gatineau, so I went there, but I did not think I was selected from all those who participate in the auditions.Now that I am here, I'm really excited!

Have you always dreamed of a musical career?

Since I was about 6 years old I want to do that, I want the Celebrity Life and be a singer, always.

How would you describe yourself in three words?

Embarrassed, empathetic and lack of confidence.

On stage, you don't seem embarrassed at all.Is there a transformation on stage?

Yes, on stage, it's really a Gaëlle that does not exist, in real life.The song I will make on Sunday really gives confidence and it's really not me in everyday life.It will not seem for the public, but I am really introverted and embarrassed in life.

Do you feel the pressure to have to compete with your new colleagues?

We are really very close, like a family.We all performed together.It's not like a competition, if they are good, I will be good too, because we all encourage each other.

You released your first single, Fallen, recently.What is this song about?

The song is written in the form of a love song, but in fact, I speak to myself.I speak to my internal speech which is not always positive and it came out like a love song.

All candidates have been confined together for a month already.Is there one or more candidates with whom you hear yourself particularly well?

I would say with William, I get really good with him, we have the same musical tastes and we look a lot alike.

What is your biggest challenge regarding the variety of Sunday evening?

I find myself alone on stage, with a camera, so the challenge will be to be confident and to be comfortable in front of the camera.
