The municipality has no shortage of projects and Patricia Lecomte ensures that they will be studied with a concern for minimal expenditure by appealing to the various financial aid offered. The mayor specifies “this year, there will be no tax increase”.
Roads, underground networks, public lighting
The development of the RD 37, from the church to the chemin des Terriers, is desired to slow down the traffic which is very important in the town. The burying of electrical networks is also envisaged. The municipality wants to install public lighting in the town and replace the existing bulbs of the RD 37 with less energy-consuming LED lighting.
Local urban plan (PLU) and surveillance cameras
The town hall hopes to obtain the release of the PLU, in principle in April. It will relaunch the urbanization of Saint-Pair. A study on the installation of surveillance cameras, on the town square, will be carried out and costed.
Other topics that will be discussed at the municipal council
The town obtained its first flower in 2021, on the list of Towns and villages in bloom. The municipality wishes to create small landscaped spaces and compete, in two years, to obtain a second flower. At each birth, it is planned to plant a tree in the town with the child's first name and date of birth.
Two beach cabins will be installed and transformed into book boxes with landscaping around them.
Finally, the mayor hopes to find the activities of the years before Covid such as the egg hunt, the Citizen's Day, the commemoration at the Paul-Quellec stele...
