Petit Bulletin LYON - Cinema Lyon: Comedy - "Les Amours d'Anaïs" by Charline Bourgeois-Tacquet: love, etc. - article published by Vincent Raymond
Light and short-dressed PhD student, Anaïs is more or less in a relationship with Raoul. But now she meets Daniel, a fifties seduced by his freshness. Anaïs is not indifferent to his charms, until she discovers Daniel's companion, Émilie, an author who will fascinate her...
With this first feature film, Charline Bourgeois-Tacquet signs a spontaneous sentimental comedy – but uneven, the flip side of the coin – hand-stitched for the interpreter of her short Pauline enslaved, Anaïs Demoustier. She naturally and piquantly takes on the homonymous role of an irresolute, charming and annoying crazy head, hesitating between two men, a woman, her thesis, and wanders from Paris to the Mediterranean or Brittany (despite her financial worries as a student thirty-something…).
Very New Wave revised by Podalydès in form and spirit, Les Amours d'Anaïs revisits certain motifs of the cinema-maid's room (which has become a two-room apartment, we know how to live) and Germanopratin adultery with a form of crazy insolence, slightly spoiled by the use of some very predictable plot twists. Fortunately, the film is filled with a solar and indisputably sensual lightness as well as (too rare) burlesque outbursts evoking a mixture of Rohmer – for the ratiocinations – and Broca – for the heroine's drive.

see the film fileAnaïs is thirty years old and not enough money. She has a lover whom she is no longer sure she loves. She meets Daniel, who immediately likes her. But Daniel lives with Émilie… who also appeals to Anaïs. This is the story of a young woman who is restless. And it is also the story of a great desire.
