Unveiled in September 2021, the Nissan Townstar is now available for order. The Japanese compact utility is available only in gasoline, with a 130 HP four-cylinder 1.3 engine and 240 Nm torque. As far as fuel consumption is concerned, the Townstar should demand 6.4 l / 100 km in a mixed cycle, and emit between 145 and 149 g / km of CO2 depending on the chosen version. Nissan announces that a 100% electric version will soon be added to the catalogue.
As a reminder, this small light utility manufactured in the Maubeuge factory (North) is available in L1 van with a loading volume of 3.9 m3 or 5-seater ludospace. In this second configuration, the trunk displays 775 litres of volume. The Townstar is based on the CMF-C platform, shared by the Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi alliance. However, he does not take advantage of the Renault Kangoo's wide side door, even though he shares many elements with his diamond cousin.
