In order to fight against the illegal dumping of waste, the municipality of Montgiscard decided in October 2021 to equip itself with two video surveillance cameras.
A measure that should deter and punish offenders. “It is a question of hygiene and preservation of the living environment. We have a collection system with buried containers, there is a payment system on deposit. 98% of the inhabitants respect the rules. But others put their bags next to it, ”says Laurent Forest, mayor of Montgiscard.
