The Philips Hue connected lighting system is today very complete, with lighting available in all formats. There is even a Hue connected socket to control a lamp, or any device if you wish. But in this type of use, we would sometimes like to have a Philips Hue multi -power, to easily pilot several devices. If the manufacturer does not officially offer it, there are however compatible models, such as the Lellki WP33 multi -power that I suggest you discover today.A ZigBee 3 multiprise.0 Philips Hue compatible, but also with many other solutions: Eedomus, Jeedom, SmartThings etc.
Unpacking the Lellki WP33 multi -power
The packaging is most simplistic.
But it is above all what it contains that interests us: the LELLKI WP33 multiprise, accompanied by a small user manual.
This ZigBee Multiprise measures 29.5 cm x 7.9 cm x 3.8 cm.Played, it is rather design, made in a single block of polycarbonate + matt white ABS (apart from the underside, no junction is visible). Its power cord measures 1.8m.
As we immediately notice, the sockets are in Shuko format, a format quite compatible with our French sockets.Catches which also incorporate children's protection.
This LELLKI WP33 multiprise thus offers 4 230V sockets, but also two 5V USB ports, capable of delivering 2.4A (in full).
At the end, a button allows the first socket to be turned on or off.We would have expected a general control, but this is not the case. This button, by keeping it 5S, will also allow you to reset the ZigBee multi -power to pair it with another system if necessary. Two LEDs indicate the status of the system: connection to the zigbee network, and the state of the catch.
A button and a LED next to each socket also make it possible to control each socket individually, as well as knowing their condition of a quick eye.
Please note: if the sockets are individually controlled, it is however impossible to control the USB ports, which therefore remain all the time fed.
At the rear, 6 rubber pads ensure the stability of the socket when laid flat. Two orifices also allow it to be fixed to a wall for example.
Note that this Philips Hue multi -power incorporates protection against overvoltages, in order to protect the connected equipment over it.The rear also confirms the CE and Rohs certification, which is always reassuring in the context of electrical products.

LELLKI, a Philips Hue multiprise
As the manufacturer announces, this Multiprise Lelllki WP33 is therefore a real Philips Hue multiprise. To add it to the Hue system, just go to the Hue application, and ask to add a lamp. The Hue bridge will scan the surrounding devices, and automatically detect the Lellki WP33 multi -power, directly adding the 4 dues individually.Detection took a few seconds here, without doing anything more.It is simply necessary to make sure that the blue light of the zigbee multi -power flashes before launching the search (otherwise, it will be necessary to press the main button to reset it).
We can then control the sockets individually from the application. As the sockets are simply on/off, you can connect any device, and not only lamps, especially since they support a load of 16A (up to 4000W in full). Here, for example, I connected my Jeedom home automation box, its USB hub, as well as my router and my network switch. This equipment can therefore be controlled independently of any other system, simply thanks to my Hue application, and that I am at home or on the other side of the planet.
The answer is instantaneous, whether you are piloting the Philips Hue multiprise from the application or locally from the socket itself (if you press a socket button, its condition changes in the application also, thanks to the return ofstate).
A lire également: 25% sur le ZigBee pour la fête des pères !If in the Hue application it is not possible to define the condition of the sockets after a power cut, it is interesting to note that the socket automatically resumes its state before the cut: if a socket was lit and theOther extinguished, after the power cut the litter will always be, and the grips extinguished ... extinguished. In the case of use as I do here with computer equipment, this is an important concept!
The different sockets can be integrated individually into Hue routines, like any other equipment in the eco system.
Finally, if the HUE system is coupled with a vocal assistant like Google Assistant or Amazon Alexa, this Philips Hue multi -power will go well in the equipment to be able to pilot them with the voice (and even integrate them into more global routines at the level of thevoice assistant). On the other hand, the sockets do not seem to go up in Apple Homekit, as is unfortunately often the case with unofficial products Hue:/
Lellki, a zigbee multiprise compatible with home automation boxes
If it can pass for a perfect Philips Hue multi -power, the Lellki WP33 multi -power is also a “classic” zigbee multipleist. It will thus be able to operate with most gateways and home automation boxes supporting this protocol.
It is also in the list of products compatible with the Eedomus box (via the use of the Dongle Zigate) or Jeedom. Most solutions supporting the zigbee protocol should be able to support it without problem, such as Homey, Home Assistant, etc..
Note however that I did not manage to operate it with an Amazon Echo natively integrating the zigbee (Echo Show 2nd generation, Echo 4 or Echo Studio).By going through Philips Hue, on the other hand, no problem.
And I did not manage to operate it with the ZigBee Lidl gateway, via the Smartlife application. Finally, partial recognition, only the first take being pilotable.
Apart from this, the manufacturer announces compatibility with the SmartThings solution (still little used in France).

After the official socket, then the Lidl model which turned out to be compatible, the thing that was missing was a Philips Hue multi -power, in order to be able to control several devices, as is often the case in a multimedia corner or a computer area for example. This avoids having to multiply the connected sockets on a multi -power, as well as the price, generally more interesting in the case of a multi -ad.And this is the case here, since this Philips Hue multi -power is offered at a rate of € 32 on Aliexpress, or € 8 per plug (an individual socket at least € 10).Design, extremely simple to use, the only thing you might regret is the lack of electrical consumption monitoring, useful for those who want to follow the consumption of large devices, or who wish to trigger scenarios when a device is inworking. But hey, the use that interested us here was mainly the use in the Hue system eco, which in any case does not manage consumption monitoring. For this use, it is at all good! For other systems, on the other hand, it will be necessary to ensure the compatibility beforehand, because as we have seen, despite the use of the zigbee, it is not necessarily recognized by all the solutions.
