VOLTALIA SA Voltalia: Leroy Merlin offers, in partnership with Voltalia, a new offer of solar roofs for individuals
Voltalia (Euronext Paris, ISIN code: FR0011995588), an international player in renewable energies, announces that it has signed an agreement with Leroy Merlin for the launch of a turnkey service for the installation of photovoltaic solar panels on the roof for individuals located in metropolitan France . Available on the leroymerlin.fr website, this offer democratizes access to solar energy by allowing as many people as possible to benefit from a simple, reliable and competitive service.
From October 5, Leroy Merlin customers will be able to benefit from a solar panel installation service that combines two areas of expertise: that of Leroy Merlin, a specialist in household equipment and the leading network in France for DIY, and that of Voltalia, an expert in renewable energy, particularly solar, in France and internationally.
The offer will be marketed on the Service page of the Leroy Merlin website, which is one of the most visited sites for this type of service: https://www.leroymerlin.fr/services/bricolage-pour-vos-travaux- a-domicile/government-offers/installation-of-solar-panels.html
For an installation of eight panels, i.e. three kiloWatts crete (kWp), the most common power, the offer will start from 8290 euros including tax, with a self-consumption premium of 1140 euros to be deducted.
The offer includes customer support in several stages. The simulation tool outlines the outlines of the need, the sizing of the power to be installed and the rate of self-consumption (share of total consumption satisfied by the production of the roof, as opposed to the remainder of consumption coming from the electrical network and billed by the energy supplier). In a second step, a video-sales appointment makes it possible to specify and complete the data of the simulation tool. Finally, a field visit validates the technical data collected from the customer.
The components (inverters and solar panels) will be guaranteed for 12 years and the assembly system for 20 years. At the end of their life, more than 95% of them will be recycled by PV Cycle, a non-profit eco-organization approved for the collection and recycling of used photovoltaic solar panels.
With this service, the electricity produced can reduce the electricity bill by up to 60%. In addition, individuals benefit from three measures put in place by the State: a contract for the sale of unconsumed production with a fixed price for 20 years, a premium for self-consumption and reduced VAT for installations up to 3kWp.

This offer is a continuation of a collaboration initiated with Leroy Merlin in 2020, which offers self-installed solar kits in its stores. Entirely intended for self-consumption, they are developed and assembled by Voltalia, and marketed for more than a year in Leroy Merlin stores.
Sébastien Clerc, CEO of Voltalia, declares: “We are very happy to offer solar solutions with our partner Leroy Merlin that allow everyone to participate concretely in the ecological transition. »
Next meeting: 3rd quarter 2021 results, October 20, 2021 (post-market)
