The French energy confirms its growth prospects
(AOF) - The French energy has published a semi -annual turnover increased and confirmed its objectives. The energy producer with negative carbon footprint achieved a turnover up 127% to 9.1 million euros.Revenues related to the production of triple gas to be 4.9 million euros thanks to a new increase in volumes (+30%) and an average selling price of gas up 11.07 EUROSEUROS/MEGAWATT-Heure (MWH) in the first half of 2021 at 37.43 euros/MWh in the first half of 2022.
Revenues linked to the production of green electricity from mine gas is up sharply at 4 million (+ 38%).This good performance is driven by the increase in volumes in the Hauts de France (+31% with in particular the contribution of the two cogenerations of Bethune) and the selling prices of favorable Belgian electricity, reaching 86.94 euros/MWh onthe semester.
Revenues from heat sale, linked to the Bethune project and the largest thermal solar power plant connected to a heat network in Creutzwald, amount to 195,000 euros on the semester.
Taking advantage of the favorable market conditions, the group has set the sale price of a large part of its gas volumes in France and electricity in Belgium for 2022 and 2023.
The group is thus well engaged in its growth trajectory thanks to the commissioning in January 2022 of 3 new cogenerations of 1.5 MW (4.5MW) on the Anderlues site and the installation of 2 additional cogenerations (3MW) on the plane site.
The activity of capturing and recovery of mine gas now makes it possible to avoid 1.5 million tonnes of CO2EQ per year, confirming the preponderant role of the group in the European ecological transition.
The French energy therefore confirms its objective to reach an annualized turnover of 35 million euros and a margin on EBITDA greater than 45% by the end of 2022.
