Fossil fuels represent, in 2020, 63% of 1,600 Térawat-Hour (TWH) consumed in France, against 25% for electricity (449 TWh).To reach carbon neutrality in 2050, electricity will have to cover 55% of the 930 TWh with energy consumed, or 645 TWh (including hydrogen production).
