Hydro Solaire will have to pay $5,500 in fines for using deceptive sales pitches to sell its solar panels.
The company specializing in the production of renewable energy was found guilty of violations of the Consumer Protection Act (LPC) by the Consumer Protection Office, on June 28, in Quebec City.

"The Office criticized the merchant for having used a pretext to solicit the sale of solar panels, namely to present means of saving energy, and for having used false or misleading sales arguments, asserting that the customer would no longer have to pay for electricity if he bought his solar panels”, can we read in a press release.
For these offenses, committed in Quebec in March and April 2018, the company from Boucherville, in Montérégie, was fined a total of $5,500.
