Who is the Energy check for 2021?
The energy cheque is awarded on a means-tested basis and according to the family situation: on the basis of information transmitted to the tax administration. The measurement is automatic. If you are eligible, you will receive your energy cheque in your mailbox: with the name and address communicated to the tax administration.
The annual premium is calculated on the basis of the reference tax income and the number of units or units of consumption. As a reminder, one person constitutes one unit, the second 0.5 and each additional person 0.3. For children on alternate care, consumption units are divided by two.
The formula is therefore to divide the reference tax income by the number of consumption units in the tax home.
The eligibility threshold in 2021 is 10,800 €for a single person. The resource ceiling has been slightly reassessed by €100.
