A Lorétain aims for the Mont-Blanc Ultra trail newsletter overcast
Yoann is passionate about sports, especially running. He has been running since the age of 20. And the more time passes, the more this inhabitant of Louroux-Béconnais challenges himself.
His latest feat is the trail run in Haute-Loire that he has just completed. He came in 13th position (out of 42 entrants). The very technical course of 80 km was swallowed in 13 hours and 10 minutes.
It was not his first attempt, because he has been adding up the kilometers in the middle of nature in recent years: in the Millau region (Aveyron), he did a 70 km trail (the Templiers) and the Causses marathon; and in Morbihan, he participated in the Raid, an 87 km race.
However, he did races on asphalt, such as the Paris Marathon, which he completed in 3 hours and 8 minutes. "I still have a preference for paths and wooded areas," he says.
Run on a lava flow
Because the "big" race he is preparing for 2018 will obviously be a trail: the Ultra trail Mont-Blanc. To have the “privilege” of registering for this race, you must be able to prove your abilities.
