2 billion euros released for MaPrimeRénov' in 2022
Launched on January 1, 2020, MaPrimeRénov' replaced the CITE (Tax credit for energy transition) and aid from Anah (National Housing Agency) "Living better agility". Initially reserved for low-income households and occupants, it was then extended to all owners, occupants or lessors, regardless of their income level.
"MaPrimeRénov' has really met its audience"
2 billion euros: this is the amount of the envelope that the Minister of the Economy, Bruno Lemaire, has just put on the table to finance, in 2022, the MaPrimeRénov' scheme, which has met with dazzling success. Indeed, for 2021, the Government estimates between 700,000 and 800,000 the number of aid distributed, against 500,000 initially planned. Nearly 400,000 files have already been submitted since the beginning of the year, and 297,003 have been accepted!
This extension has something to delight the Ministry of Housing: “We are delighted because it is an aid that has really met its audience. It responds to an important demand. The first criterion for households to embark on renovation work is the comfort and enhancement of their property”. Expanded, MaPrimeRénov' is now aimed at all owners, regardless of their income and whether they are occupants or lessors.
